What is Pilates?
Pilates is a system of mind-body conditioning that was created by German, Joseph Hubert Pilates in the early 20th century. Joseph Pilates created exercises which are performed using either a floor mat or a variety of specialised equipment, including the reformer.

Yes, Pilates and Yoga is suitable for everybody. At Pilates Haus, we offer small group classes, max of 8 people. Excersies can be modifed to suit your individual needs.
We believe it is never too late to invest in yourself and welcome beginners of all ages.
Is Pilates and Yoga safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Pilates and Yoga can be a very safe way to prepare your body for, and during pregnancy. Provided you have been practicing regularly with us (minimum 3 months) you can most likely continue to attend Open Reformer, Stretch + Strength Reformer and Yoga throughout your entire pregnancy. We may ask you to obtain medical clearance.
Our group Classes are not suitable for new prenatal clients with no Pilates or Yoga experience. We recommend Private sessions or small group 1:2 Pilates if you are pregnant and new to Pilates Haus.
How can Pilates help me?
As the inventor of Pilates, Joseph Pilates, famously said “You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 session, and have a completely new body in 30 sessions”.
Pilates is a high intensity, low impact workout focussing on strengthening and muscle conditioning in a safe and effective way.
Pilates has many benefits from helping people who suffer from poor posture, back pain, weak pelvic floor and tight muscles to really toning and sculpting the body and results are visible in a short amount of time.
We recommend 3 classes a week to see and feel the results.
Can men do Pilates?
ABSOLUTLEY! A class designed for men will be up on the timetable soon.
I'm a Pilates Haus member. Can I put my membership on hold?
